Check out this pic. I took last night. biggrin

The scan came out blurry, and the camera was hard to hold steady, but you get the idea... The closer gauge in my boost gauge and the further one is EGT. The bright green LED is my VTEC indicator light.

I like the setup with the gauges, though blurrrrrry smile How did you wire your VTEC light up? I have a 3 gauge setup with (in order from top) Boost, oil press., and A/F guages from Autometer. I would like to put in a red light in the same place as you green one but I have never seen anyone with one, nor do I want to experement with how to hook it up. So where did you get your light and how did you do it? Thanks

    Question

I was going to post gauge how-to questions and here you are!

What brand/type of gauge pod is that? It looks like it fits well.

    Thanks,

Hey that cluster looks really cool. Do you have any problems with it vibrating loose at all?

How long have you had it? And as Holden asked what brand is it?

    Thanks in advance,

    Thunder

    Hey guys.

Holden, was that you posting on the hondalist all giddy about getting the JRSC? wink

The gauge pod is a GaugeWorks. Made my AutoMeter. They are very easy to find and cheap too. Like $20-30 for the dual-pod. I used one screw to secure it in and it holds fine. No vibrating loose or anything. Fits the contours of the A-pillar nicely too.

As for the VTEC light.. I rigged that up myself a long time ago using parts freom Radio Shack. You need an LED, a 330-ohm resistor, some 2-conductor wire, and one of those piggy-back wire tap connectors. You tap into the VTEC signal from the ECU (It's a green/yellow wire 4-wires from the end of the largest connector at the ECU. That should help you find it) and run it to the LED through the resistor. Connect the other end to ground and mount the LED wherever you want. Make sure its pointed towards your face. It provides excellent shock factor at night when you rev at mustangs and your face gets this greenish glow from the VTEc LED. biggrin
